Anja Menzel ist Postdoktorandin am Lehrstuhl für Internationale Beziehungen, Senior Research Fellow am SARChI Chair: African Diplomacy and Foreign Policy der Universit?t Johannesburg, Südafrika, und Fellow der Bayerischen Wissenschaftsallianz für Friedens-, Konflikt- und Sicherheitsforschung (FoKS).
In ihrer Forschung untersucht sie, wie komplexe internationale Governance-Strukturen Politikergebnisse beeinflussen. Ihr empirischer Fokus liegt dabei auf Ocean Governance, insbesondere an der Schnittstelle von maritimer Sicherheit, Nachhaltigkeit und der Blue Economy.
