Dr. Janina Bergmann

M.Sc. - Information Systems

Janina Bergmann is Senior Director Authorities & Management Systems at Lufthansa Technik AG. She previously held several management positions. During her doctorate, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Information Systems, in particular Information Systems in Service Industries (ISDL) at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg.

Her research deals with the standardization of business processes, with a focus on employee-related and organizational influencing factors. As part of this, a process model for successful and sustainable process standardization and a governance model to ensure standardization have been developed. Both models are already being used successfully in practice and scientifically supported. In addition, Ms. Bergmann deals with the influence of various characteristics of work and what effect these have on employee acceptance of standardized processes. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods are used in her research work.
Her research contributions have been published at numerous national and international business informatics conferences such as ICIS, ECIS, WI and AMCIS.
