Startups
Our research group actively supports entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas in the fields of games, gamification, or extended reality (XR) on their journey toward self-employment.
In addition, our teaching encourages students to develop ideas and prototypes for novel game-based and gamification approaches. We also assist with building connections to key stakeholders in the Bavarian gaming industry.
We welcome inquiries – whether you're applying for a startup grant, developing a business model or business plan, or evaluating a product idea.

Anakrino
Anakrino develops educational and simulation games on ethical issues and social collaboration. Through action-oriented formats, Anakrino creates reflective spaces where complex topics become tangible. At the core of their offerings is the “Digital Transformation Series”, a suite of AI-driven role-playing games that make digital transformation processes more comprehensible. These experiences aim to enhance participants’ skills in discourse, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
