Exchange with schools

Visit to the State Vocational School III in Bamberg / Bamberg Business School

On 16 January 2024, the TEFL team met with the vocational school III in Bamberg. We were given the opportunity to observe English lessons ("Writing an enquiry" was the focus of one of the lessons) and were able to discuss future cooperation opportunities with the school administration. Many thanks to the headmaster, Pankarz M?nnlein, and his team for this interesting day! We look forward to working together in the future.

VR-Workshops

As a part of a university seminar and our research project on virtual reality (VR) and education for sustainable development (ESD), we carry out VR workshops with learners of English. For example, we either invite learners to our SprachenLLab or visit classes at their school to try out teaching sequences with VR.

During the VR workshop in the SprachenLLab with the Franz-Ludwig-Gymnasium in Bamberg, the students immerse themselves in a VR world created by the student using the AR2VR app.
